How ISIS Hijacked the Syrian Revolution

“The regime is more bloodthirsty than ISIS,” she said. “They also commit massacres. They also intrude into daily life.”
And despite the setbacks and violence wrought by the radicals, ISIS “hasn't stopped the revolution,” Khuloud said.
Asked if American military intervention could help her and her colleagues in Syria, she said that air strikes would need to target both ISIS and the regime. She added that she was "very afraid that the American airstrikes could target civilians and civilians will pay the highest price."
